The Flagship Publication of the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) ® It Is Innovation What You'll Want at the Show: Here are some tips from veterans on what to have handy at the show: Water: Te dry climate of Las Vegas makes it important to stay hydrated at the show. While busy schedules may make it hard to stop and take a break, it's important to grab a bottle of water or other bev- erage to go. Once you're back in your hotel room, you might consider ordering a humidifer for your room. Lip balm: Again, don't be caught of guard by the dry desert air. Tink ahead and grab some lip balm. You don't want to have to stop in the middle of the day to buy overpriced lip balm. Comfortable shoes: CES is full of innovation, and you won't want to miss out on the next big technology, so hopefully most attendees will have comfortable shoes that are broken in. Phone chargers and battery packs: Our mobile devices serve as not only communication devices, but personal assistants, and who would want to be at the biggest show of the year with a sleeping assistant? Either throw that phone charger in the bag, or track down a portable charging device to bring along – sometimes outlets slow us down! Getting Around: Navigating the show foor is made easier by a number of tools provided by CEA, including a preshow planner, CES Mobile, the ofcial app of CES (available for iOS and Android devices) and more. Te CES Mar- ketplaces make fnding specifc product categories and technologies easier by grouping them together in one location. In addition, by diferentiating the show venues as Tech East, Tech West and C Space at ARIA, attendees can easily refer to CESweb.org or other resources to fnd what they're looking for. Tech East: Consists of the Las Vegas Convention and World Trade Center (LVCC), the Westgate Las Vegas (Westgate) and the Renaissance Las Vegas (Renaissance). Tis is where innovations in audio, automotive electronics, gaming, video, wireless devices, wireless services, digital imaging/photography or anything "i" comes to market. Tech West: Sands Expo (Sands), Te Venetian, Te Palazzo, Wynn Las Vegas and Encore at Wynn (Wynn/Encore). Tech West will be a must see for buyers, distributors, press, industry analysts and key decision makers. Featuring the innovative power behind tomorrow's industry, Tech West encompasses revolutions in ftness and health, the Internet of things, sensors and other high-growth technologies changing the way we live, work and play. C Space at ARIA: New to the International CES, C Space is located in various suites and the Pinyon Ballroom Complex within ARIA. C Space is the ofcial CES destination for creative communicators, brand marketers, advertising agencies, digital publishers and social networks. Between Venues? Maps and resources showing foor layouts for each of these destinations are readily available online and in publication bins at the show. But what about getting between these venues? In addition to Las Vegas' legion of taxi cabs, a number of shuttles run between both show venues and Las Vegas hotels. Tere's even a circulator shuttle that circles the Las Vegas Convention Center. Check out CESweb.org to view the full shuttle schedule. Decided to take a taxi? Tere might be someone in that taxi line going to the same place. Don't be afraid to share a cab – you might just make a business contact. Tips & Tricks
