Philips Fidelio NC1 headphones use ANC to block out ambi- ent noise for an enhanced travel experience. The headphones use a hybrid ANC approach, with four microphones detecting ambi- ent noise before inverting the signal, effectively canceling it out and converting background noise to silence. Two "FeedBackward" mi- crophones positioned next to the headphone drivers provide strong noise cancellation at low frequencies, whereas the two "FeedFor- ward" microphones positioned on the outside of the headphone ex- tend the bandwidth of noise cancellation into the mid and high frequencies. Foldable and lightweight, every element of the NC1s' design has been developed with travelers in mind, said the company. The memory-foam ear pads are designed to provide an ergonomic f t, great comfort and breathability. Battery life is listed at 30 hours. Price and availability will be announced at the show.
