136 | 2015 INTERNATIONAL CES DAILY | JANUARY 6-9, 2015 Comply Earphone Tips Tout Comfort BOOTH 21054 Hearing Components is introducing its new line of earphone tips to answer the cry from ath- letes of all levels for a solution to the discomfort and minor inconveniences caused by their earphones. The Comply Sport and Sport Plus earphone tips are designed to f t the athlete's lifestyle — providing a secure f t and uninterrupted comfort so that they can stay focused and "in the zone." Steve Trinter, director of sales and marketing, noted that music is a tool that individuals use to stay focused, block out the world and propel themselves for- ward. "As athletes ourselves, we were fed up with earphones that continually fell out and developed Comply Sport as the solution." For users on the move, Comply Sport earphone tips deliver a custom stay-in-place f t which is achieved with body-heat-activated memory foam that expands to f t the ear canal's shape. The result is in-ear retention so that earphones remain snuggly in place even in the presence of moisture. To help users protect their earphone, the Comply Sport Plus tips feature a sweat guard that prevents moisture from entering the earphones' sound- port. The sweat guard incorporates an acoustically transparent f lter that protects the earphone core from component corrosion and loss of sound quali- ty caused by perspiration. The Comply Sport ($6.95) and Sport Plus ($9.95) tips can be purchased online at ComplyFoam.com and will be available in early 2015 at major retailers. Comply branded earphone tips are manufactured and sold by Hearing Components, a 3M spin-off founded in 1990. NEW & NOTEWORTHY NEW PRODUCTS DEBUTING AT 2015 INTERNATIONAL CES
