Both systems are part of D-Link's Connected Home devices that can commu- nicate and interact with each other. The DIY Security Kits include an HD cam- era, Wi-Fi motion sensor and Wi-Fi smart plug that work together seamlessly, the company said. Both provide a single solution to monitor your home, enabling users to cre- ate various rules or actions, such as when to start video recording and when to turn on a light based on motion detection. The high-def nition-edition DCH-101KT ($200 suggested retail) includes a 720p HD camera 802.11ac wireless connectivity (DCS-935L); Wi-Fi smart plug to turn on and off connected devices (DSP-W110); a Wi-Fi Motion sensor and trigger (DCH-S150). The Pan & Tilt (P&T) DCH-301KT ($250) includes an 720p HD P&T camera with wireless connectivity (DCS-5222L); Wi-Fi Smart Plug (DSP-W110); and a Wi-Fi motion sensor and trigger (DCH-S150). The systems require no monthly fees and with the free Mydlink home app, users are able to manage and control the security kit from a single mobile app (iOS and Android versions). Both systems come with free Mydlink cloud video recording of six snapshots or a 30-second video clip based on a user def ned trigger. iON Shows $99 Air Pro Action Cam BY GREG TARR BOOTH 15430 iON Cameras is introducing here a more affordable step in its growing line of action video cameras. The company is also showing its recently introduced iON the Home video security system. The new iON Air Pro, which will carry a $99 suggested retail, boasts simple, one-touch recording (with vibration conf rmation of record stop and start) and FullHD 1080p video resolution. The video camera is completely waterproof without requiring any ad- ditional housing, the company said. The iON Air Pro series is compatible with iON's Wi-Fi Podz add-on accessories and the new iON app 2.0 for iOS and Android, enabling use of a smartphone or tablet to control camera functions and settings, view live streaming video and replay or immediately upload footage to Facebook, Twitter or YouTube or share it via email. The company will also show the iON the Home affordable wireless monitoring and security camera system, which links via Wi-Fi to a smartphone app and al- lows 24-hour Cloud-based recording storage.
